Astro Whack
A downloadable game for Android
Welcome to the pre-alpha version of my first game, where you take on the role of a brave guardian tasked with protecting our planet from mischievous Astro Whacks! Your mission is simple: smash as many Astro Whacks as possible and achieve the highest score.
Take on this exciting challenge across multiple game modes:
Basic Mode: Catch Astro Whacks before they vanish and alert their forces. Each escape costs you a life, so stay sharp and aim for the top score!
Fast Mode: Test your speed and reflexes by catching as many Astro Whacks as you can before time runs out. The faster you catch them, the more points you earn!
Battle Mode: Survive intense battles as Astro Whacks fight back with projectiles. Use your shield by clenching your fist with your palm facing your head, but remember—only one shield can be active at a time.
Please note that most graphical elements are placeholders at this stage, as the game is still in early development. This is my first attempt as a game developer, and your feedback will be invaluable as I continue to improve and expand it.
Thank you for playing, and I hope you enjoy this pre-alpha experience. Have fun, and good luck!

That's an impressive first game for mixed reality! I'm particularly interested in incorporating hand tracking and real-world camera integration into my own project. Could you share which engine and SDK you used for your game? Additionally, were the hand tracking and real camera features already implemented in the SDK you chose?
Well done !
Thanks for your feedback! I really appreciate it.
For this project, I used Unity as the engine, along with Unity's XR Hand and XR Toolkit package for hand tracking and interactions. These tools provided built-in support for hand tracking, making it easier to integrate gestures and interactions into the game.
Nice ! I will try to build something with that !
Thx a lot !
